L.F.O.: Lost Future Omega

L.F.O.: Lost Future Omega was announced for Switch earlier this year. Today, Mebius confirmed that it’s slated for December 28 in Japan.

In L.F.O., the music played has its sound synced based on the player’s actions and the changes on screen. Some of the sounds from the previous stage can be chosen to be brought to the next stage. Therefore even reaching the same stage may result in different arrangements based on the routes chosen in the playthrough.

A total of five stages and fifteen areas are included. There are branches that lead to different areas in mid-game as well.

Two gameplay modes are included: Normal Mode and Okiraku Mode. The latter lets you enjoy playing without receiving any damage (so it’s mostly to enjoy the music).

L.F.O.: Lost Future Omega will be out on the Japanese Switch eShop this Thursday for 864 yen. We’ve included a trailer released a few months ago below.
