LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Warner Bros. just revealed LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch 2. The title arrives in 2026, and it’s playable at Gamescom this week.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is the first LEGO release from developer TT Games since The Skywalker Saga in 2022.

Players can explore the open world by grappling, gliding over streets, or cruising around in the Batmobile. There’ll be playable partner characters like Jim Gordan, Catwoman, Robin, and Batgirl with their own gear. Villains include Joker, Penguin, Bane, and more.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a brand-new open world action adventure videogame that invites players to embark on Bruce Wayne’s epic journey to become the hero of Gotham City, inspired by decades of Batman films, television, comic books, and games, and jam-packed with Batman nostalgia, DC lore, and TT Games’ signature brand of fun-filled LEGO humor.
