[Let’s Talk] Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet?

We’re about a month away from the launch of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, the latest entry in the legendary franchise that started up over 25 years ago. The games will largely be the same, but like past entries, a few details will set them apart.

Something we saw with the original games is that a few select creatures were exclusive to each version, and that’s once again the case here. As one example, Koraidon is the main Legendary Pokemon for Scarlet while Miraidon is the Violet counterpart. Additionally, those playing Pokemon Scarlet will encounter Professor Sada while Pokemon Violet has Professor Turo. Small outfit changes are also included. You can find more information here.

I think it looks great so far! All the voices sound pretty great, though I need to hear more of Pratt as Mario to really form an opinion on it. Worst case scenario, it’ll just be Chris Pratt for 2 hours which is fine for me.

That trailer was so intense. I love Jack Black’s performance s Bowser thus far. “NOW WHO’S GONNA STOP ME”!?

It looks good. I think Jack Black as nailed Bowser, need to hear more from Chris Pratt before I make a fair judgment on his Mario.
But all in all, the trailer put a stupid grin on my face that was very hard to get rid of. I’m very much looking forward to this.
