Level-5 prioritizing Yo-kai Watch Jam development over Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes
Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes doesn’t appear to be any closer than when the game was first announced in 2016 as Inazuma Eleven Ares. On Twitter, Level-5 president Akihiro Hino said the company is prioritizing the development of Yo-kai Watch Jam – Yo-kai Academy Y: Waiwai Gakuen Seikatsu instead.
Hino’s full words, as translated by Siliconera:
“Pardon the sudden message, but for business purposes we have prioritized the development of Yo-kai Academy Y over Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes. Currently, discussion on the groundwork needed to make [Inazuma Eleven] a hit title is required, so that game development may be allowed to continue. We’re putting all our efforts into making it a good game. Please forgive us for the long wait.”
Our last update on Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes came back in April. Level-5 provided some details about its plans for the project, but it still doesn’t have any sort of release window.
