Metroid Prime 4 has a new voice actor for Samus
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has made a voice actor change for Samus, as a new person has taken over the role. As revealed by the game’s credits, Erin Yvette now plays the role. Jennifer Hale handled Samus in the original Metroid Prime trilogy.
Erin Yvette has been involved with various games and anime over the years. Earlier this year, she played Nielnail in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition. Yvette also played Blonde Blazer in the recently-released Dispatch.
Outside of the voice actor news for Samus in Metroid Prime 4, the credits reveal some other interesting information. Interestingly, some staffers from Next Level Games – the team that worked on Luigi’s Mansion 2 and 3 as well as Mario Strikers – contributed to development. These are specifically Matt McTavish, Cavin Yen, Mark Blanchin, and Christopher Rice.
Many other teams also had a hand in Metroid Prime 4, including Virtuos. The full lineup is as follows:
