My Nintendo adds Metroid metal display for Switch Online members
My Nintendo updated with its latest reward, which is a Metroid metal display. However, you need to be a Nintendo Switch Online members in order to claim it.
The display features the classic original NES package art on a metal panel and rests on a sleek black acrylic base etched with the My Nintendo logo. Nintendo says: “It’s a stylish and nostalgic tribute for any fan or collector who’s ventured through Zebes and faced the Space Pirates.”
The dimensions are as follows:
- Panel: 5 in x 7.125 in
- Thickness: 1 mm
- Base: 5 in x 1.2 in x 0.8 in
Note that the reward has a protective film on both sides. If it’s old or stubborn, you can gently warm it with a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive, then carefully peel it off. Also keep in mind that the panel edges may be sharp, so handle with care.
