Nintendo Direct announced for September 13

A new Nintendo Direct will air tomorrow, September 13, Nintendo just announced. The presentation will be held at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM in the UK / 4 PM in Europe.

Nintendo says that the Nintendo Direct will mainly focus on Switch games launching this winter. It’ll be about 40 minutes long.

Nintendo UK says that it will not live stream the Nintendo Direct “as a mark of respect during this period of national mourning”. Instead, it will be published as a video-on-demand on the company’s YouTube channel. It appears that other regions will not be following this format.

There’s been lots of speculation about a possible Nintendo Direct happening this week, but this is the first time we’ve had confirmation from Nintendo. The event comes ahead of the Tokyo Game Show later in just a few days.
