Spike Chunsoft’s Yuichiro Saito was among the developers 4Gamer spoke to for its New Year’s feature. One of Saito’s more recent works was Conception II.

Speaking on the topic of 2014, Saito stated that Spike Chunsoft will continue to work hard to get games out there, because it is in them. If you pay attention in 2014, there will be some exciting announcements, he added.

Update: Clarification. This reward originally appeared in 2011, but has been unavailable for a significant period of time.

Club Nintendo has added a new selection of posters. For 400 coins, members can obtain a set of three featuring Donkey Kong. You can place an order right here.

This is a bit silly, but you have to watch it. It’s pretty hilarious, I have to admit!

More:

Omasse Rental Weapon Shop was the only game in the Guild01 series not to be released on the western 3DS eShop. That could be changing soon though, based on a new rating from the OFLC.

The Australian classification board added a new entry to its database today for “Omasse Rental Weapon Shop”. Such a listing is a strong sign that the title will finally head to North America and Europe. Hopefully we’ll be hearing something official from Level-5 soon.

If nothing else, Nintendo’s North American Inazuma Eleven listing for 3DS doesn’t appear to be an error. We followed up with the company after the discovery was made over the weekend, and although not much was said, we were told: “What is listed on the website is the most current info we have.”

Kind of a cryptic response, but apparently, Inazuma Eleven really is coming to the states… we think. Attempts to obtain further details haven’t been too successful thus far.

I do have to admit it’s a bit odd how this listing has come out of the blue. The fact that no previous announcements have been made certainly raises some question marks. It’s also strange how Inazuma Eleven is supposedly due out in Q1 2014 – meaning before the end of March. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see where this leads!

Gradius may be hitting the North American Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow. A listing posted on Nintendo’s site includes a January 9 launch date for Konami’s side-scrolling shooter. Assuming it’s correct, you’ll be able to purchase Gradius at 12 PM ET tomorrow for $4.99.
