Capcom appears to have some sort of new Wii U game announcement on the way.

During a Monster Hunter Tri stream event yesterday, community manager Brett Elston teased incoming game-related news for the platform. Elston didn’t offer much in the way of hints, but did note that it may “not be too much of a surprise if you’ve been paying attention to the Internet”.

“… we should have more Wii U news in general very soon… for games. I’ll just tease that out there. Might not be too much of a surprise if you’ve been paying attention to the Internet, but probably very soon you’ll hear something else about a game for said platform.”

So what could it be? Well, there’s one significant, unannounced Capcom that has been talked about quite a bit as of late: Resident Evil: Revelations Unveiled Edition. While we’re not sure if the title is coming to Wii U, a port would certainly make sense and could fit in with ONM’s February teaser for a “stunning new game”.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Nintendo and Konami are teaming up for the release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate in Europe. The Big N will be handling sales, marketing, and distribution of the new 3DS title throughout the continent as well as in Australia. Konami will remain as the game’s publisher.

Laurent Fischer, Managing Director, Marketing, PR & Distributor Markets at Nintendo of Europe, said:

“There is a rich history of Castlevania games launching on Nintendo consoles dating back to the original Castlevania game which launched on the NES in the 80s. We are really proud to be partnering with Konami once again to bring the latest instalment in the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow franchise to Nintendo 3DS.”

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate hits Europe on March 8.

But Austin, what am I about to watch!?

This week on TPPGBE4, Austin and Aysha take on the fickle Professor Oak, trying their best to fulfill his devilish requirements for Pokémon photography. They don’t do very good, but they had a lot of fun even though it took them 10 hours to put this episode together.

This episode features a weird discussion about how games aren’t as hard as they used to be in the same way that they used to be, and a top ten list about the 3DS games you readers are all looking forward to most!

Greek developer Pelikan13 launched a Kickstarter for “The 90’s Arcade Racer” just a few days ago. At the moment, it’s standing at £3,146 (roughly 31%) of the £10,000 goal. With 26 days remaining, the campaign has a good shot of becoming a fully-funded project.

The 90’s Arcade Racer has been confirmed for a few platforms thus far, but not Wii U. Could that change in the future? Pelikan13 seems open to the possibility, telling Nintendo Life:

“These are early days for me to be thinking that far ahead, once the game nears completion I will see what other versions I can consider. It’s mainly a financial issue. Having said that, I own and very much enjoy playing on Wii U and 3DS, so it’s something that I would really like to see happen in the future.”

If you want to learn more about the project, hit up the Kickstarter link here. Perhaps we’ll see this one on the Wii U eShop one day!

According to Amazon, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will release “Scribblenauts Collection” for the DS next month. It’s arrival is expected on February 26.

I assume this product is nothing more than a neat little bundle. It comes with the first two Scribblenauts titles for DS in one handy combo pack.

If interested, you can pre-order Scribblenauts Collection here.
