Since early 2009, Nintendo has been running a program in Japan that rewards users who help other owners connect online. Basically, the company was dishing out Wii points based on the amount of users you assisted.
This will be coming to a close next month. Nintendo announced that the program will end on November 30 at 5 PM JST.
