Pokemon Legends: Z-A has highest physical launch sales since Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in the US
We’re continuing to receive more information about the launch sales of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and this time a report is in for the United States.
Based on Circana tracking, Pokemon Legends: Z-A had the highest launch week sales for a physical video game release since The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in 2023. This is for both physical units and dollar sales.
The verdict seems to be that Pokemon Legends: Z-A is doing well in most regions. However, the exception seems to be Europe. Earlier today, we heard that Pokemon Legends: Z-A had the weakest debut for a mainline Pokemon entry since Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Eevee. Read more about that here.
Worldwide sales of Pokemon Legends: Z-A were confirmed to be over 5.8 million after a week. The United States and Japan are likely the big elements contributing to that number.
