Pokemon Masters EX – Spreading Shadows, Giovanni’s Malice, Double Feature Spotlight Scout and more all live now

As the first in a set of announcements for this week’s Pokemon Day, a whole bunch of events have gone live in Pokemon Masters EX, including:
- Villain Event Spreading Shadows where you can boost Giovanni and Mewtwo is now live (February 20 – March 6)
- Extreme Battle Event Giovanni’s Malice where players take on Giovanni (February 20 – March 6)
- Double Feature Spotlight Scout with the ability to Scout 5-star sync pairs Erika & Leafeon and Misty & Vaporeon (February 20 – March 6)
- Kanto-only 5-Star-Select Scout x11, letting players scout 11 sync pairs plus a 5-Star sync pair of their choice (February 20 – March 6)
- 10-Pair Scout Ticket as a daily log-in bonus up to ten times, letting players team up with up to 100 sync pairs (February 20 – March 23)

Villain Event Spreading Shadows is back!
You can collect Mewtwo Crystals to give Giovanni & Mewtwo a power boost!

You can collect Mewtwo Crystals during this event and exchange them for items to give Giovanni & Mewtwo a power boost!
After Giovanni & Mewtwo have received this power boost, Mewtwo will Mega Evolve after using its Sync Move.
Once Mewtwo has Mega Evolved, its stats will be raised and Confusion will change to Psystrike.
Note: If you have not teamed up with Giovanni & Mewtwo, you will be unable to use Mewtwo Crystals to give Giovanni & Mewtwo this power boost.
Note: The power boost cannot be undone once completed.
Note: If you have already given Giovanni & Mewtwo a power boost, attempting to give it a power boost from item exchange will earn you a 3★ Power-Up instead.Strength Bonus
In the Villain Event Spreading Shadows, Sync Pairs with the specified region Theme will receive Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def bonuses.
Note: If multiple Themes apply to the same Sync Pair, the larger bonus will take effect. (These bonuses do not stack.)
Note: This event does not feature any lineup bonuses.Event Medals
Event medals are awarded for meeting certain conditions in event missions.
You can try to obtain all of the event medals!Exchanging Items
Item exchanges are currently available in conjunction with Villain Event Spreading Shadows.
The Exchange Items menu has several useful items, such as Support Move Candy Coins and 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets.Event Missions
