Pokemon Unite receives update for Mewtwo balance adjustments

Pokemon Unite just wrapped up some emergency maintenance involving Mewtwo, and a new patch for the game has released.

Mewtwo, the latest Pokemon that was implemented just today, was seeing a much higher win rate than expected. A number of stats have now been addressed for defense, Mega Evolution attack, and more.

Here’s the full rundown:

Mewtwo 

The following stats have been adjusted:

• Defense/Special Defense increased per Mega Gauge 1 memory: 4% → 2%
• Defense/Special Defense increased during Mega Evolution: 30% → 10%
• Attack increased during Mega Evolution: 20% → 10%
• HP gained during Mega Evolution: 20% of maximum HP → 10% of maximum HP
• Mewtwo: Psystrike – Cooldown time: 6s → 8s
• Mewtwo: Recover – Cooldown time: 8s → 10s
• Mewtwo: Teleport – Cooldown time: 6s → 10s

Pokemon Unite is currently available on the Switch eShop as well as on mobile via iOS and Android.
