Pokemon Unite update out on September 8 (version 1.1.1.8), patch notes

Pokemon Unite update 1.1.1.8

Pokemon Unite is getting a new 1.1.1.8 update tomorrow, September 8, The Pokemon Company and Timi Studio Group have announced.

The new update will include bug fixes, text fixes, and shop updates. Additionally, some changes are planned for Blissey.

Changes are being made to some Pokémon stats and moves to adjust the balance of Unite Battles.

BLISSEY

The following stats have been increased:

  • Sp. Def

Safeguard:

  • Removes all status conditions from the user and the designated ally Pokémon and grants both Pokémon a shield. While these shields are active, the shielded Pokémon become immune to hindrances.
  • Cooldown reduced.
  • Area of effect increased.

Safeguard+:

  • Upgrade: Increases the amount of damage nullified by the shield effect.

Pokemon Unite has been receiving updates regularly, and it goes without saying that version 1.1.1.8 won’t be the last one. Three patches went out throughout August, with the latest one happening on August 17. Read about it here.

Pokemon Unite is currently available for Switch as a free-to-play game on the eShop. The mobile version for iOS and Android will arrive on September 22.
