Dante from Devil May Cry will be returning in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster via DLC, Atlus has revealed. The character will be offered through the “Maniax Pack” at launch in Japan on October 29. Pricing is set at 980 yen.

Here’s a trailer featuring Dante:

Those that own the DLC for Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster can choose “New Game ~Maniax~” from the title screen. All scenes with Raidou Kuzunoha will be swapped out with Dante, and the title screen loop movie and logo will show Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax. There’s also now a “Piercing Effect” for Dante’s skill “Son’s Oath.”

For the initial release of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne on PlayStation 2 in Japan, Dante wasn’t included. The game later received a “Nocturne Maniax” version, which is what the western release was based on. It was here that Dante from Capcom’s famous series was included as a boss and recruitable ally.
