Shin Megami Tensei V and all DLC to be pulled from the Switch eShop

Today, Atlus announced that it will be removing the original Shin Megami Tensei V as well as all of its DLC next month. Fans have until June 13, 2024 to pick everything up.

Atlus plans to delist the following items:

• Shin Megami Tensei V
• Shin Megami Tensei V Digital Deluxe Edition
• Downloadable Content Bundle
• Return of the True Demon
• A Goddess in Training
• The Rage of a Queen
• The Doctor’s Last Wish
• Mitama Dance of Wealth
• Mitama Dance of Miracles
• Mitama Dance of EXP
• Safety Difficulty

While not specifically stated, Atlus likely feels that having the original Shin Megami Tensei V on the Switch eShop is pointless given that the new version, Vengeance, is on the way. That edition launches for Switch on June 14, 2024.
