Shin Megami Tensei V daily demon vol. 076 – Agathion

Atlus in keeping with its frequent Shin Megami Tensei V updates has shared the latest daily demon video for the game, which features Agathion. Check out its overview video below the break.

Here is a description of Agathion’s lore, along with a brief overview of its history, courtesy of the Megami Tensei wiki:

A familiar with no physical body that only appears during the day.
There is no consensus on the appearance of an Agathion: it can resemble a human, bird, or animal. They are usually seal away in bottles or pots, but can also be sealed in rings or talismans. The term Agathion is also used as a general term for familiars.

Agathion is a Yoma race demon originally making it’s debut in the 1995 game Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner.  It has appeared in many entries to the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series since as a variety of races and Arcanas, though it will return as its original Yoma race in Shin Megami Tensei V.
