US: Shin Megami Tensei V has highest launch month dollar sales of any Shin Megami Tensei title in history

While we don’t have specific sales figures, Shin Megami Tensei V appears to be off to a good start in the United States.
The NPD Group released its latest gaming sales report today, and it includes a note about Atlus’ Switch RPG. Interestingly enough, it saw the highest launch month dollar sales of any Shin Megami Tensei title in history.
Shin Megami Tensei V was the 16th best-selling game of November 2021 in the United States. It was sixth on the Switch-specific chart.
Over in Japan, Shin Megami Tensei V sales currently sit at just under 200,000 copies. In its first week, the game moved 143,247 units.
Atlus brought Shin Megami Tensei V to Switch on November 12. You can check out our review of the game here in both written and video formats.
