Sifu getting major update on Switch next week
Original (6/6): Sloclap has revealed exclusively to Nintendo Everything that the Switch version of Sifu is getting a major update next week.
The Arenas Expansion initially came to other platforms back in March. This content, along with title update 3 content (minus the Replay Editor due to hardware limitations), will be made available for Switch on June 15, 2023.
The Arenas offers 45 challenges with their own unique set of rules with nine brand new locations not seen anywhere in the base game. It can be accessed right after completing the game’s tutorial/prologue section.
The update comes with 28 new cheats and modifiers that radically change the way the game can be played. Note that players will need to complete the story mode once in order to start unlocking them. Six new unlockable outfits for the main characters will be available as well alongside quality of life improvements and performance upgrades.
