Soma for Nintendo Switch gets big update for Switch 2 players

If you picked up the recently-released Nintendo Switch version of Soma, you might be interested to know that there’s already a big update available that upgrades the experience on Switch 2.

Abylight informed us about a variety of improvements that are already on the console, which are for visuals and performance. The Soma Nintendo Switch update for Switch 2 comes with an improved resolution with a more stable refresh rate, better textures, and reduced loading times. Abylight also says the game “benefits from the handheld console’s screen, offering greater sharpness.”

Abylight actually said it isn’t finished with support just yet. Even more improvements for the new hardware are planned, though we don’t have the details yet. More patches featuring “exclusive features” will be out “in the coming weeks.”
