Spain’s best-selling games of 2021, Switch leads hardware sales

New data has revealed the best-selling games of 2021 in Spain. While FIFA 22 came out on top, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl were right in second at 228,000 copies sold. We also see Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and Zelda: Skyward Sword HD in the top five at 187,000 units and 60,000 units respectively. The full results are as follows:

  1. FIFA 22 – 537,000
  2. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl – 228,000
  3. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury – 187,000
  4. Just Dance 2022 – 90,000
  5. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD – 60,000
  6. Far Cry 6 – 59,000
  7. Mario Party Superstars – 59,000
  8. NBA 2K22 – 58,000
  9. Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart – 57,500
  10. F1 2021 – 55,000
  11. Resident Evil Village – 46,000
  12. Metroid Dread – 37,000
  13. Monster Hunter Rise – 33,000
  14. Call of Duty: Vanguard – 31,500
  15. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – 29,000
  16. Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain – 22,000
  17. Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut – 20,000
  18. Battlefield 2042 – 17,000

As far as hardware goes, Switch led the way with nearly 500,000 units sold in 2021. We also find out that Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda sold 27,500 units. Below are the hardware rankings for last year:

  1. Nintendo Switch – 495,000 / 2,200,000
  2. PlayStation 5 – 275,000 / 363.000
  3. Xbox Series X|S – 83,000 / 110.000
  4. PlayStation 4 – 53,000
  5. Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda – 27,000 / NEW
  6. Xbox One – 4,000
