Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass Wave 1 out on Switch this month
Nintendo has announced a final release date for the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass Wave 1. This is planned to launch on February 28, 2023, the company announced today. It’s a bit surprising since the release window was last planned for this spring.
The Expansion Pass was just revealed during a Nintendo Direct last week. Two parts are planned in total.
With the first wave, players can make Inkopolis their stomping ground. Inkopolis Plaza is available, which has changed over the past several years with some new shopkeepers. On top of that, the Squid Sisters will perform here during Splatfests.
The second wave of the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass might be the more exciting DLC. A new single-player campaign called Side Order is in the works, and fans can see what’s become of Inkopolis Square, the central area featured in Splatoon 2.
The Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass can be bought now on the Switch eShop. A content pack that contains bonus in-game items will be provided immediately after purchase.
