Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars delayed
Konami has announced that it has delayed Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars.
Previously, the collection was on track for 2023. Now, however, Konami is not specifying any sort of time frame – it’s simply TBA.
In explaining the delay for Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, Konami said while it’s been working hard on the project, it decided that more time was needed to development. The company apologized to fans who have been waiting and promised that updates will be shared on the official website and on social media.
The full message reads:
We would like to thank Suikoden fans everywhere for your ongoing passion and support for the Suikoden series.
Regarding the planned release of Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, we have reached the conclusion that despite the very best efforts of our dedicated development staff to release the remasters in 2023, additional time is needed to ensure the quality performance and gameplay experience our users deserve. The entire Suikoden team is renewing our efforts to bring Suikoden I & II HD Remaster to release as soon as is possible.
We will share further release information as soon as it becomes available on our official social media accounts and official homepage. We appreciate your understanding and sincerely hope you will continue to lend Suikoden your support.
As the name implies, the collection includes the first two RPGs in the series. It will also include a number of improvements and features such as updated visuals, newly added auto-save, the ability to fast forward, and a conversation log. You can read more about the improvements here.
