Super Mario Bros. movie teaser trailer to be shown at New York Comic Con
The first teaser trailer for the Super Mario Bros. animated movie will be shown at New York Comic Con, it’s been announced.
Those attending the expo will be able to see the video on October 6 at 4 PM. Presumably the video will be posted online later on – if not the same day, it should be live not too long after that.
News about the Super Mario Bros. animated movie has slowly rolled out over time. The film was first announced at the very start of 2018, but we still haven’t seen what it actually looks like.
The primary cast was announced exactly one year ago. The lineup includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach
Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike. There’ll also be surprise cameos from Charles Martinet.
The Super Mario Bros. movie was originally planned for December 21, 2022. However, it will now debut on April 7, 2023.
