Suika Game online multiplayer

Online multiplayer support for Suika Game now has a release date. According to an eShop listing, it’ll be ready to go on May 23, 2024.

Suika Game previously released its Main Game & Multi-Player Mode DLC following a Nintendo Direct earlier in the year. Players could access new local multiplayer modes in that pack, but online multiplayer support was promised for a later date. Now that feature is just a couple of days away.

Suika Game Multi-Player Mode Expansion DLC

The surprise hit Suika Game isn’t finished just yet as new Multi-Player Mode Expansion DLC has been announced. It launches Switch today.

The DLC adds local two-player battles to the mix, with online multiplayer arriving in the future. You can “enjoy the fruits of your labor in the Original mode along with the new Time Limit and Attack modes.”

The Multi-Player Mode Expansion DLC is live on the Switch eShop. A bundle is also available featuring the game and its Multi-Player Mode Expansion DLC.

Suika Game Christmas update

As a special treat for Christmas, Suika Game has been updated with a new holiday theme.

The theme will only be available for a limited time. To access it, update the game and use the L/R buttons on the title screen. Christmas music is included.

Original (10/20): Suika Game, which has made waves in Japan on the Switch eShop this year, is now available on Switch worldwide – just without English support.

At first glance, this seems like something that’d easily pass by without much attention. And actually, that’s what happened with Suika Game when it first came to Switch at the end of 2021 in Japan. But after streamers and influences started spreading the word this year, it became a hit. As we previously reported, Suika Game was the best-selling game on the Japanese eShop in September.
