Today, Hamster announced that Rastan Saga will be its latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. It will be available worldwide tomorrow, May 2.

An action game released by Taito in 1987, in the game the player controls the titular character Rastan, a thief whose goal is to defeat a dragon rampaging through the country. Along the way you’ll be able to pick up a variety of weapons and armour to improve your chances.

Arcade Archives Rastan Saga will be sold digitally via the Switch eShop. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Today, Hamster announced that Newman Athletics will be its latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. It will be available worldwide tomorrow, April 25.

A sports game first released by Namco in 1993, in Newman Athletics players will be able to choose between one of four superhumans, known as Newmen, to compete in eight different competitions. To clear the competition and advance to the next, you will need to beat the current record, known as the NEED value in the game.

Arcade Archives Emeraldia

Today, Hamster announced that Emeraldia will be its latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. It will be available worldwide tomorrow, April 18.

Emeraldia was originally made by Namco in 1993. While it only came out in Japan for its arcade debut, it did receive a Wii Virtual Console launch in 2009.

VS. Super Xevious: Gump’s Mystery is heading to Switch as the latest Arcade Archives game, Hamster has announced. The title is due out worldwide on April 11, 2024.

VS. Super Xevious: Gump’s Mystery was first released in 1986 by Namco. In order to save humanity from the control of Xevious’s army in this shooting game, players will need to take control of the fighter plane Solvalou to solve the mysteries hidden in each area and make their way towards the enemy fortress.

Arcade Archives Exvania

Exvania is heading to Switch as the latest Arcade Archives game, Hamster has announced. The title is due out worldwide on April 4, 2024.

Originally made by Taito in 1989, Volfied is a military strategy game where the objective is to cut off more than 80% of an energy field using a laser cutter to clear the stage, whilst avoiding enemies touching either your aircraft or the line you draw.

Mouser is an action game originally released by UPL in 1983. In the game, the player controls a cat whose bride has been kidnapped by rats, and must rescue them by any means possible whilst the rats will attempt to foil their attempts.

Tank Batarian is joining the Arcade Archives series on Switch, Hamster announced today. It will be available on March 7, 2024.

A shooting game released by Namco in 1980, Tank Batarian was the inspiration for many other games, including Battle City and Tan Force. The player will control a tank to defeat enemies and protect their base in a number of stages.

War of Aero is joining the Arcade Archives series on Switch, Hamster announced today. It will be available on February 29, 2024.

War of Aero is a vertical scrolling shooting game, first released by Alume in 1993. Players will operate a plane with pods attached to the left and right sides, which they’ll need to change the direction of to aim shots. The game will also support 2 player sessions.

War of Aero will be sold digitally on the Switch eShop. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.
