Astro Dogs physical

Limited Run Games is handling a physical release for Astrodogs on Nintendo Switch, the company has announced.

This will be a bit different compared to some of the company’s other products. For one thing, it’s not an ESRB cover (instead it’s PEGI for Europe), though it will work on all Nintendo Switch systems worldwide. Also, note that only 3,000 copies will be produced.

Astrodogs Switch

It’s taken a bit longer than expected, but Astrodogs now has a final release date on Switch.

The Star Fox 64-inspired shoot ’em up title was announced for Switch back in 2020. The game landed on PC last year, and for the Switch edition, there’ll be some additions and improvements. Dynamic Media Triad has implemented optional gyro controls, rebalanced levels, features like a level select and checkpoints before boss fights, an alternate way to unlock the true ending path, and more.

Publisher Digital Tribe and developer Dynamic Media Triad have confirmed that Astrodogs, an on-rails shoot ’em-up inspired by Star Fox 64, will be released on Switch. It’s expected to launch later in 2020.
