Internal Invasion is due out in North America next Thursday. If you purchase the game during its first week, you’ll be able to partake in a 10 percent discount. Internal Invasion will be priced at $4.99 following the launch week special.

Bear Box Media has also confirmed plans to produce free Internal Invasion DLC. We don’t have details on this just yet, but we’re told that it will come as an update in Q4.

Internal Invasion is coming out on the Wii U eShop next Thursday. That’s according to developer Bear Box Media, who tweeted the following yesterday:

Bear Box Media has confirmed its new indie title for the Wii U eShop, “Internal Invasion”. The 2D physics platformer is currently being made with Construct 2.

Bear Box Media’s Andy Ford provided us with the following overview of Internal Invasion:

Regarding Internal Invasion, it is a 2D physics based platformer where players control a character through an organism with the goal to locate the cause of a virus and put a stop to it. Players do not have full control over the character, however, and must launch him from cannon to cannon, keeping in mind that he can only survive outside of these devices for mere seconds. To assist them, players can collect pills that will give them the ability to steer the character’s path.

To get the best score on each level (of which there are 50) players must not only use the fewest number of cannon launches, but must also beat the game’s ‘par’ time for each level.
