Nintendo has now confirmed the entire Mario Tennis Fever roster, and we have the full list of characters.
When the game was first revealed last year, we heard that this would be the most-packed entry in the series. That applies to elements like the modes, but also the roster. And now thanks to today’s trailer, we know of everyone planned for the title.

Nintendo has come out with a brand new overview trailer for Mario Tennis Fever.
Much of what we see here was initially covered as part of the initial reveal. Various aspects are explored in detail though, including amiibo support. In Mario Tennis Fever.
Bowser Jr., Bowser, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Rosalina, Yoshi, Waluigi, Wario, Toad, Daisy, and Donkey Kong are all compatible figures. Scan one of these amiibo in Mario Tennis Fever to use a tennis ball with the design based on the character.

Mario Tennis Fever announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Mario Tennis Fever is in the works for Nintendo Switch 2, it’s just been announced. The game launches on February 12, 2025.
38 playable characters will be included, which is the most in series history. There’ll be a Tournament Mode, the Trial Towers Mode, Mix It Up Mode (with Wonder Effects from Super Mario Bros. Wonder), and online support. You can also swing your Joy-Con like a racket in another mode. On top of that, a story mode is included in which Mario and the rest of the gang are transformed into babies.
