The first update for R.B.I. Baseball 19 is now available. There are a number of Switch-specific improvements and fixes, including better fielder animations.

R.B.I. Baseball 19 is a couple of weeks away from launching on Switch. Ahead of its release, a new batch of screenshots and details have come in.

Here’s the full roundup:

MLB Productions has announced that R.B.I. Baseball 19 is coming to Switch. It’ll be out sometime in March, both physically and digitally.

Toronto Blue Jay’s star Lourdes Gurriel Jr. has been named the Canadian cover athlete. No word yet on who will serve as the American counterpart, though that news will be shared soon.

MLB announced today R.B.I. Baseball 18 currently 30% off on the Switch eShop, selling for $20.99. The sale ends July 30. The game will be receiving a patch “soon.” The patch notes for the Switch version are below:

– Fix for Free Agents or Legends disappearing after overwriting Franchise rosters
– Fix for save data corruption
– Additional bug fixes and optimizations

Earlier today, it was announced R.B.I. Baseball 18’s release on the Switch would be delayed until later this Spring. Per the tweet below, we now have confirmation the game is due for release in April.

R.B.I. Baseball 18 doesn’t have a definitive release date on Switch just yet. It’s currently lined up for sometime this spring.

Polygon was recently able to get a look at R.B.I. Baseball 18, which was announced for Switch this weekend. The site has details on major improvements planned for this year’s game, as well as new features.
