Ho-Oh location guide in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Posted on 11 months ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
Today, we’re continuing our coverage of Legendary Pokemon locations in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with a Ho-Oh location guide. These Legendary Pokemon can only be accessed via the Indigo Disk, and we’ve also cataloged each of their locations on Paldea’s map.
Ho-Oh and Lugia are Generation II’s signature Legendary Pokemon. Unlike previous games in the series, neither Ho-Oh nor Lugia are version exclusive. This means you can catch both of these Pokemon regardless of the version of the game you’re playing. Like all of the other Legendary Pokemon in the Indigo Disk, you can only access Ho-Oh from an NPC named Snacksworth who is somehow capable of summoning Legendary Pokemon to Paldea.

Shiny Pokemon that are gone forever when Pokemon Bank closes
Posted on 11 months ago by Ethan in 3DS, 3DS eShop, Guides | 0 comments
Nintendo recently announced the almost-complete closure of 3DS and Wii U online services on April 8 – and just about every single game is losing online functionality on that day. Pokemon Bank, however, is the exception. It won’t remain open forever, but eventually Nintendo will cut the cord on all of its online services. When that happens, Pokemon Bank will become unusable and it will be impossible to transfer Pokemon from previous generations to the Switch.
More than a few Pokemon can only be Shiny on Game Boy Advance, DS, and 3DS titles – on Switch, there’s no way to Shiny hunt any of these Pokemon (at least, not yet). Today, we’re going over a list of Pokemon whose Shiny forms will become unobtainable once Pokemon Bank closes. Again, we’re not entirely sure when this will be, but if you’re looking to save some cool Shiny Pokemon now might be a good time to start hunting.

Posted on 11 months ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
Today, we’re talking all about coaches in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet – how to invite them, the benefits of doing so, and the Pokemon each coach offers to trade you on their third visit.
Coach trainers are a mechanic new to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC. Blueberry Academy is the home of the League Club Room, a special area that lets you extend invites to Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, and teachers from the base game. Once you’ve invited one of these coach trainers, you can battle them and eventually trade Pokemon with them after sending multiple invites.
