Pokemon Scarlet

Groudon can now be found in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as part of The Indigo Disk DLC, and for those of you looking to know where to find it, we’ve published a location guide.

Groudon is a member of the weather trio that also includes Kyogre and Rayquaza. Like all the Legendary Pokemon available in The Indigo Disk, it is available from an NPC named Snacksworth who stands right outside Blueberry Academy after you finish the main story. If you’re looking for the exact Groudon location on the Paldea map, you’ve come to the right place.

Kyogre location Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Today we’re continuing our Legendary Pokemon guide series for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with a Kyogre location guide for The Indigo Disk, including its exact location on the Paldea map.

Kyogre is a member of the weather trio, which also includes Groudon and Rayquaza. Just like all the other Legendary Pokemon available in The Indigo Disk, the creature is available from an NPC named Snacksworth who stands outside the Blueberry Academy after you clear the main story. Unfortunately, getting the Legendary Pokemon snacks you need to spawn them is a little bit repetitive.

Rayquaza location Pokemon Scarlet Violet

For those interested in learning where to catch Rayquaza in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as part of the Indigo Disk DLC, we have a Rayquaza location guide here for you.

Rayquaza is the master of the weather trio that also includes Kyogre and Groudon. Though Rayquaza can’t Mega Evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it does retain access to its signature move, Dragon Ascent. Like all the Legendary Pokemon in this game, you’ll need to grind out quests in the Union Circle – more on that in a bit. If you’re looking for the exact Rayquaza location on the Paldea map, you’ve come to the right place.

Gouging Fire location Pokemon Scarlet Violet

With our latest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet guide, we’ll get into the specific location as to where you can find Gouging Fire as part of The Indigo Disk DLC.

Gouging Fire is the new past Paradox form of Entei, and it’s available in Area Zero in the DLC. However, this one is actually a Scarlet exclusive. You can only catch one Gouging Fire per save file, unfortunately, and you’ll need to have caught at least 200 Pokemon for your Blueberry Academy Pokedex. From there, you can talk to Perrin in the Savanna biome of the Terarium to start a postgame quest that takes you back to Area Zero – and this is where you can catch both Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt.

Where to find Raging Bolt in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Wondering where to find Raging Bolt as part of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s The Indigo Disk DLC? We’ve got you covered there.

Raging Bolt is a past paradox form of Raikou, and it’s brand new to the DLC. Whereas Raikou is a pure Electric-type Pokemon, Raging Bolt is an Electric/Dragon-type modeled after a dinosaur. Walking Wake, a fellow member of its trio, was already available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s base game via a limited-time Tera Raid Battle event. That’s not the case for Raging Bolt, however – as long as you’re playing Pokemon Scarlet (the game it’s exclusive to), you’ll be able to catch it for yourself with no time limit.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Hidden Treasure Area Zero epilogue

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet aren’t quite finished with The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero DLC, as a new epilogue has just been announced. It will launch on January 11, 2024.

A brief trailer was posted online for the epilogue today. Arven, Penny, and Nemona will be featured. In order to access it, players will need to have completed a certain postgame event in the main game as well as the main stories of the original two DLC episodes.

Here’s the trailer:

Necrozma location Pokemon Scarlet Violet Indigo Disk

Necrozma is available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s The Indigo Disk DLC, and we’ve got a post ready here to fill you in on its location.

Though it can’t transform into Ultra Necrozma, it does retain the ability to combine with either Solgaleo or Lunala for its Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings forms, respectively. On that note, once you’ve caught Necrozma, you can purchase the N-Solarizer and N-Lunarizer from the auction house in Porto Marinada. With all that said, let’s get right into our guide on where to find Necrozma in The Indigo Disk DLC.

Glastrier Spectrier location Pokemon Scarlet Violet Indigo Disk

Glastrier and Spectrier are back in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC, and we have their locations right here.

As with all returning Legendary Pokemon introduced in The Indigo Disk, Glastrier and Spectrier unlock via Snacksworth, a character who appears at the entrance of Blueberry Academy after finishing the main story. Surprisingly enough, neither of these Pokemon are exclusive – you can catch both of them in the same game. To unlock their appearances, you’ll need to clear Blueberry Quests (BBQ’s for short), and every 10 quests you will receive a snack that activates a random Legendary Pokemon. You’ll also receive a vague hint as to where it’s located – but we’ve figured that part out for you.

Iron Bundle Tera Raid Battle Pokemon Scarlet Violet

For the next Tera Raid Battle event in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, it’s been announced that Iron Bundle will be featured. It will come with the Ice Tera Type.

Iron Bundle will be showing up in 7 Star Raids. Just like previous events, it can only be caught once per save file.

Kubfu location Pokemon Scarlet Violet

For those looking to get their hands on Kubfu in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as part of The Indigo Disk, we have a location guide for you so you can learn where to find it.

The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet includes Kubfu as one of the Legendary Pokemon that can be caught. It’s a good thing, too – Urshifu is currently one of the strongest Pokemon in VGC, and it was previously only obtainable via Pokemon Sword and Shield’s DLC campaign.

Before we get into the Kubfu location, keep in mind that you can get the Scroll of Darkness or Scroll of Waters from the Porto Marinada auction house. From there, you can use it like an item to evolve Kubfu without having to do any of the training present in the Isle of Armor DLC.
