City Connection just announced the release date for R-Type Delta: HD Boosted. The Nintendo Switch game will be ready to go on November 20, 2025.
R-Type Delta: HD Boosted is a return of the classic shooter. The visuals have been remastered in HD and the action runs at 60 frames per second. On top of that, there are screen resizing options and a practice mode, along with newly arranged music by artists who have worked on previous R-Type games.

Clear River Games, City Connection, and Irem today unveiled R-Type Delta: HD Boosted. It’ll be heading to Nintendo Switch later in 2025.
