Red Art Games announced today that it’s preparing a physical release for Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered in the west. This is slated for early 2025.
The publisher is actually readying a new version of the game known as Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered International. This largely appears to be the same as the original, but support for French, German, Spanish, and Italian translations.

A physical version of Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered is on the way to Switch in Asia, it’s been revealed. English support will be included.
Square Enix previously put the RPG on Switch, though it’s mostly been a digital release. With the new boxed copy though, collectors will be able to add a physical copy to their collection. Switch is a region free console, so the origin of where the game is purchased doesn’t really matter.

Square Enix shared a new Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered trailer today focusing on the cast of characters. This comes ahead of the RPG’s launch later in the week.
Albert, Aisha, Jamil, Claudia, Hawke, Sif, Gray, and Barbara are the main characters. Schiele, Monica, Marina, Flammar, and Aldora can also now be recruited as part of the remastered version.

Square Enix has set a final release date for Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered. As was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, the RPG will be ready to go on December 15, 2022.

In today’s SaGa Series Official Broadcast, Square Enix have announced Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered will be coming to Switch, and have shared a first-look trailer at the game. The game was originally released for PS2 back in 2005 in Japan and North America, and is itself a remaster of the original Romancing SaGa released on the Super Famicom in 1992.
