We’re about to see yet another Five Nights at Freddy’s game on Nintendo Switch with Secret of the Mimic. It’s confirmed for release on December 16, 2025.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic is another entry in the long-running horror series. This one, which initially launched at the start of the year, has players entering “a world where every dark corner holds a secret and every flicker of light hints at an ever-present threat.”

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach will be receiving a physical release on Switch, according to retailer listings. It appears to be releasing in just a couple of days – July 11 specifically.

This will be a straightforward boxed launch – no special editions are planned. However, each copy will come with a sticker sheet.

Original (3/23): Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach has been confirmed for Switch – but in a bit of an odd way.

Rather than announcing the port via a press release or official trailer, it turns out that a build of the game for Nintendo’s console has been brought to PAX East 2023. If you’re at the event, you should be able to give it a go in-person.

Original (10/23): Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted was recently confirmed for physical release on Switch. Following up on that is Five Nights at Freddy’s: Core Collection, a bundle containing several different entries in the series. You’ll be getting Five Nights at Freddy’s 1-4 along with Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location.

Amazon and GameFly list Five Nights at Freddy’s: Core Collection for January 12, 2021. We’ll be looking out for an official announcement which should confirm that date.

We know that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted is coming soon to Switch – it’s just a matter of when. A listing on Nintendo’s website would let you to believe it’s up on the eShop now, though we can confirm that isn’t the case. The site also has a May 21 release date, which makes much more sense.
