Update: Premium Edition Games is also preparing physical versions of PigeonDev Games Collection and A Robot Named Fight!, though we don’t have specifics just yet as their releases are following far in the future.
Premium Edition Games is yet another distributor entering the physical space, and the company’s first release has been revealed. Super Blood Hockey, which came to the Switch eShop last August, is getting a boxed version.

Super Blood Hockey due out for Switch on April 26

Today, publisher Digerati and developer Loren Lemcke confirmed the release date for Super Blood Hockey on Switch. It’ll be out via the eShop on April 26. It will carry a 20% launch discount for a limited time.

Super Blood Hockey seeing release on Switch next month

Following its release on Steam, Digerati and developer Loren Lemcke are putting the retro charm and pixelated violence of Super Blood Hockey on consoles. The arcade sports action title will launch for Switch sometime in April.
New to the console release is a Franchise Mode “that puts players in the shoes of a corrupt coach as they recruit players from prison, utilize performance-enhancing drugs, pull the plug on injured teammates, and use other underhanded tactics to succeed.”
