Techland

Techland has started sending out Old West-themed postcards to members of the press, teasing a reveal of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger for Switch. An image on the front shows a gunslinger playing on the device so it’s quite clear what this is about. Additionally, the back teases more news to come on October 24 at 12 AM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM in the UK / 9 PM in Europe.

Techland previously teased an announcement for Switch earlier in the year. On top of that, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was recently rated for Switch by the ESRB, which had all but confirmed the port.

If a new ESRB rating is anything to go by, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is coming to Switch. A classification for the game was just added to Nintendo’s platform.

Back in May, Techland chief technical officer Pawel Rohleder teased that the company “might have a surprise for the Nintendo Switch later this year.” 2019 is quickly drawing to a close and this ESRB rating was just made known, so it’s looking almost like a lock that we’ll be seeing Call of Juarez: Gunslinger on Switch.

Dying Light developer Techland has yet to release a game on Switch. However, that could be changing later in 2019. During an interview with Wccftech, chief technical officer Pawel Rohleder teased that the company “might have a surprise for the Nintendo Switch later this year.”

For what it’s worth, Polish website Graczpospolita claims that the game in question is Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. Ubisoft published the first-person shooter in 2013, but Techland gained the rights to the title it created last year.

Here’s a trailer for the game:
