The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has just revealed a Nintendo Switch 2 version, out today
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has not only been announced for Nintendo Switch 2, but the game launches today. This is being sold as part of the Anniversary Edition.
Fans can pick up the action RPG via the Nintendo eShop. It includes the base game and the three official expansions – Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire. Hundreds of unique Creations Club items are also packed in with quests, weapons, armor, spells, dungeons, and more.
On Nintendo Switch 2, the game features enhanced resolution, improved load times, performance optimization, Joy-Con 2 mouse support, motion controls, amiibo support, and more. The same Nintendo-exclusive content from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – which was in the original Switch version – is back including the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, and Champion’ Tunic.
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is out today digitally for $59.99. Those who own the Anniversary Edition on Nintendo Switch can upgrade for free. If you own the base edition on Nintendo Switch, you can upgrade to Switch 2 for $19.99.
