Video: Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 vs. Switch graphics comparison

A new graphics comparison video has come in for Hollow Knight on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

This new version of the game dropped today. Hollow Knight was always a good looking game on Nintendo Switch as is, but Switch 2 brings some upgrades to the table.

The biggest thing here is resolution. On Nintendo Switch, the game was capped at 720p. Now on Nintendo Switch 2, the action moves up to native 1080p in portable mode and 4K docked. There’s also an option to get the title running at 120 FPS when docked, but at 1080p resolution.

Worth noting, Hollow Knight on Nintendo Switch 2 loads faster than on Nintendo Switch. Team Cherry also says that this new version features some additional effects.
