Warriors: Abyss update adding new character and more, patch notes

This week, Koei Tecmo announced the first major update for Warriors: Abyss which will bring a new character to the fray.

No word yet on who’s planned for the roster. However, there are other things to look forward to as well. The Nintendo Switch version is getting performance improvements, there’ll be a number of adjustments, fixes are planned, and more.

Here’s the full rundown on what to expect:

Warriors: Abyss March 2025 update patch notes

• Additional character.
• Gauge reduction for barriers of the Level Boss Onigashira.
• Increase in the rate of unique weapons appearing in treasure chests as mission rewards.
• Upward adjustments to the effects of some Treasures.
• Changes to make Formations that are still locked in the Hall of Bonded Souls appear at King’s Cauldrons as non-exchangeable items. Additional changes to make Formations that have been unlocked in the Hall of Bonded Souls appear in treasure chests as mission rewards.
• Fixed for a bug impacting the effects of Player Hero Traits for Sima Yi’s Unique Weapon.
• Performance improvements for the Nintendo Switch version.
• Other bug fixes and balance adjustments are also planned.
