Xtreme Sports Switch release date set for August

Original (6/28): Three years after it was originally announced, the Switch version of Xtreme Sports has secured a release date. WayForward just announced that it’s scheduled for August 10, 2023.
Xtreme Sports originally debuted on the Game Boy Color. The action-sports-RPG features five events including surfing, skyboarding, and street luge.

From the makers of cult classic Shantae comes this colourful spin on high-adrenaline sports. Try your hand at surfing, street luge, in-line skating, skateboarding and even skyboarding!
Explore the island to find friends, foes and even a few hidden treats. Practise hard and then compete in events to win medals – there are more than 400 to collect!
Xtreme Sports will initially be sold on the Switch eShop. However, there’ll also be a physical release from Limited Run Games at a later date.
Update (8/8): We’ll still be seeing the game this month, but it won’t be this week. WayForward now says it’s planned for August 15, so it’ll only be a few days longer.
