Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D update officially live in North America as well
Nintendo’s update for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D should now be live in all major regions. The patch is officially available in North America, so you can go ahead and download it. Head past the break for Nintendo’s patch notes, details on how to update, and other information below.
Ver.1.1. [Released 2/27/2015]
- Fixed the issue in which an “ERROR!****” message appears in-game
- Fixed the issue in which users become unable to swing their swords after playing at Honey and Darling’s Shop
- Adjustments have been made to make for a more fun gaming experience
Notes:
- You can still use previous save data after downloading this update.
- Update data will be saved on the SD Card that is inserted into the system.
- If there is not enough space on the SD Card, the update will not be completed.
- In order to check available space, select “System Settings” from the Home Menu and then select “Data Management.”
- After download the update, please do not delete the update data. Update data can be viewed in the “Downloadable Content” area of the Data Management menu.

- Start the Nintendo eShop and search for “The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D” and tap the item for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Update Ver. 1.1.
- For steps on how to download the software update from the HOME Menu, click here.
- On The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Update Ver. 1.1 page, select “Tap Here to Download” and follow the on-screen directions.
- Once the download is complete, the update will automatically be applied.
- The update data will be saved on the SD Card inserted in your Nintendo 3DS system.
- Start The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D and check that it has been updated correctly. If the version number shown is Ver. 1.1, the update has been successful.
