Inazuma Eleven Ares will be on 3DS, also planned for “higher quality game machine”

When Level-5 announced Inazuma Eleven Ares last year, the company did so without announcing any platforms. But during the fourth Inazuma Walker live stream today, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino finally shared some news.

Hino said that, in addition to 3DS, Inazuma Eleven Ares will be on some other platform. “It may also release on what you would call a higher quality game machine… perhaps,” Hino teased.

Switch could certainly be one possibility. With Inazuma Eleven Ares featuring toys and Nintendo’s new system having an NFC reader, a release on the new console would make sense.

You can watch the full, three-hour broadcast of Inazuma Walker below, which even includes trailers for The Snack World anime.

Comments like these may have made sense when the Switch was still called NX, but now? I don’t get the secrecy at all.

To have people pondering. It could either come the Switch, PS4, or XBO.

I’d be shocked if that “higher quality gaming machine” wasn’t the Switch. Level-5 have yet to announce a Switch game, despite committing support to it, so having Inazuma Eleven would make sense.

    • That what they are doing/ They said before that they want to wait a bit and have the Switch grow an install base with kids before announcing anything.

    Playstation Handheld successor.

I am growing more certain they will announce a handheld at E3 or just before, with the sole purpouse of taking the wind out of the Switches sails so they can maintain their total market dominance.

What would entice an average person to buy another Sony handheld given their track record so far?

Inazuma Eleven is a Nintendo exclusive game… so if they release it on a ”higher quality game machine” it should be arcade or just some hints for a Switch version
