    Oooho! The artbox looks amazing~

The game might be great but I would really struggle to buy this in a game store where the staff actually know me. My local Geo smirked when I bought disgaea

I don’t know what a ‘local geo’ is, but why don’t you just tell them to f off? :p

      • ben

Well. I mean. Geo is a Japanese store. It was probably funny for the guy behind the desk that the huge 6 2″ gaijin was buying this super niche Japanese otaku game. I don’t live in Tokyo so I stand out a bit more. I also find it pretty embarrassing to buy Amiibo. But that is on me. The geo guys often try to sell me Amiibo when I buy games.

Oh, alright. That’s a completely different scenario than what I was imagining.

Bullying is crime, you know… tell them f*ck off.

Funny, my “local” EB Games convinced me to buy Disgaea.

Hey it is a great game. I just think it shocked the Japanese dude behind the counter that I was getting the game. I mean context is important. It is a small town store in Japan. It is pretty shocking that I even have a switch considering the rarity level and the fact I was buying an otaku game probably threw them. However, I know this art style is even more Otaku than Disgaea.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is to not give a fk about what others think of you. Have decency, but don’t let others ruin your fun

My wife would probably also give me a dark look if I brought this game into the house. The art style is full Otaku and Otaku is kinda looked down on in Japan…even by other gamers.

I like it, looks amazingly well done
