NES Classic Edition has sold 1.5 million units worldwide, Nintendo increasing production

During Nintendo’s Corporate Management Policy Briefing, the company provided an official update on sales of the NES Classic Edition. The hardware has sold 1.5 million units since launch (including the Famicom Mini). Additionally, Nintendo said production will be increased.
