    Well that’s…really late

Already lost the moment. I cancelled my pre-order back there when they gave that lazy excuse about the high price of the Switch version.

      Excuses are for wimps.

Its about time we got a release date but I do agree its quite late. Now Yooka-Laylee is the only one left.

I’ll buy! Wanted since the beginning. Now this have to sell 35k~ to beat PS4 version or >4k to beat Xone version. I hope at least 50k 😀

Why is it so much more expensive in Europe? 44,99€ == 53$

    • Reggie

      $55 dollars here in Canada.

I hear the US prices don’t include taxes.
      Can anybody confirm this ?

      • Fredy Rodriguez Ortega

it is true, US prices does not include taxes because each state has a different Tax. For example, the tax here is where I live is 7% percent of the value you are going to pay the 7% of 39.99 is 2.79 so the total price here in Florida is 42.78 usd (44.12 canadian dollars) and yes in europe is always expensive due to euro being more valuable than USD

Here the taxes are included in the prices, but they are also much higher usually.
In France the Tax on Added Value is at 20% on most items, it’s usually enough to explain price discrepency and the 1$=1€ conversion practice (since the $ is tax-free).

This is excellent news! I’m quite sure that third party developer Tantalus Media would create a virtually flawless port of RIME for the Switch this November.

They’re crazy if they think anybody is gonna care. Launching this the day Pokémon UltraSun and Pokémon UltraMoon launch? I feel like they’re taking this on purpose just to complain when they don’t get the sales that Nintendo fans don’t want games that aren’t Nintendo games.

I was going to buy this on PS4, but decided to wait for the Switch Version. Now just debating if I fork over for the boxed version or not.

Free music album on the retail version.

Free as in 10 extra bucks.

      • Indielink

Tequila Works is at least giving something to make the price hike more palatable.

  • glauca

That’s the same release date as Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. That game is likely going to overshadow this on release. I believe that they should push back the release by a week to give the game some proper spotlight.

late and the same day of UltraM/S…… good call
