Many years ago, Factor 5 was hoping to release its own Pilotwings game on Wii. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out in the end, and all work was scrapped.

Liam Robertson has managed to unearth a trailer for the project back when it was known as WeFly. You can see the video for yourself below.

It would be a one of the top Wii games.

A New, open world Pilotwings for Switch would be right near the top of my games wish list.

I had so much fun with the free-flying mode in Wii Sports resort !
Too bad this didn’t get made.

I’d be very much into a new Pilotwings entry, provided it was either worthy of being sold at full price content-wise or just cheap.

Factor 5 has always been my ideal studio to handle a new Star Fox game. Their Rogue Squadron games are fantastic and I think they’d translate well to Star Fox, especially the dog fighting.

Platinum, while a great studio, and one of my personal favourites, I think they would be better suited doing a Kid Icarus game, especially after seeing Sakurai’s Uprising. They’ve shown they can do the on-rails in both Star Fox 0 and Bayonetta 2 and they are one of, if not, the best at the combo heavy combat gameplay, which would definitely translate well into a Kid Icarus Uprising like game.
But if Platinum were to have another go at Star Fox, I’d like see them do a Platinum style Star Fox Adventures game, rather than a traditional Star Fox game.

    Better than Star Fox Zero.

the game per se is good but make the entire game around the gimmick mechanic of aiming using motion controller was a very bad idea that took the fun out and I love motion controlled games when they are well implemented like aiming in splatoon
