Half of LEGO City Undercover’s debut sales in the UK were on Switch
The new versions of LEGO City Undercover launched in the UK last Friday. With two days of sales, it debuted in the eighth position, just behind Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Chart-Track’s individual rankings showed that the Switch version of LEGO City Undercover came out on top. On Nintendo’s console, it was the 14th best-selling game. PS4 and Xbox One followed at #26 and #32 respectively.
Additional data reveals that LEGO City Undercover on Switch accounted for 49 percent of all sales. PS4 was next at 29 percent, and Xbox One at 21 percent. There was also 1 percent for the Wii U original.
LEGO games tend to perform well on Nintendo platforms, so perhaps this isn’t extremely surprising news. Still, it does show that titles originally made for Wii U can find new life on Switch.
