Mario Kart Tour update out now (version 3.0.0), patch notes

Mario Kart Tour has just received a new update, bringing the game to version 3.0.0. This update is mostly preparing the game for the addition of Battle Mode and the new Spotlight Shop, but is also bringing some small quality of life changes to the title.
Here are the full patch notes for the update:
- Made preparations for Battles, a new way to play.*
- Made preparations for the Spotlight Shop, where you’ll be able to exchange rubies for drivers and more.*
- The best score you’ve ever achieved on each course will now be recorded.
- You can now play the next course directly from the race results screen.
*These are scheduled to be provided for future tours.
Mario Kart Tour is currently available on mobile via iOS and Android.
