[Let’s Talk] The Super Mario Bros. Movie impressions
The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been out for a little over a week now, and we want to hear your impressions.
This was a big deal for Nintendo as one of its first real cracks at cinema since the live-action Mario film many, many years ago. There was a lot of pressure to get it right, and while some of the reviews have been mixed, it’s already proven to be a huge success.
If you’ve been able to check out The Super Mario Bros. Movie, what’d you think of it? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
Highlights from last week’s topic: What are you playing? – April 2023

I recently completed Assassin’s Cred IV. This was my first AC game and I really liked it.
When I started I thought it would be the last game I would play before Zelda, but it was shorter than what I read online. It took me 35 hours but I thought It would take me above the 60 hours mark.
8/10 I will play the rest of the collection at some point and eventually get the other games.
This time I really won’t have the time to finish another game before Zelda, so I’m just playing some games where I still have some things to do:
.- Mario Oddyssey. I will get all the moons… but using a guide because it isn’t fun anymore.
.- Hyrule Warriors. Doing some levels of the adventure mode.
.- One piece Unlimited World Red. Fetch quests.
.- Assassin’s Cred IV. Secondary Missions.
.- Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. Some of the quest I haven’t done yet.

On the Switch I’m playing Skyward Sword HD to finish and then play BotW’s DLCs before TotK comes out.
On the Xbox Series S I’ve been playing Hogwarts Legacy.
And on the DS I’ve been playing 10 to 15min of FF IV almost every day
Star Magician
Atelier Ryza 3, which I think may be the best game in the Atelier series.

Just got back into Infernax with its Deux or Die update and while Cervul did take some time getting used to with his different arsenal of abilities compared to Alcedor, I ended up not using the former character as much due to not being as impressed and pretty much then, I used Cervul’s Banner Tool to speed through everything (which made one of my absolute favorite Switch games even better).
Just played a few Checkerboard Chase matches in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, especially in High-Speed Mode that made one of my absolute favorite mini games in the franchise even better.
Currently playing Jak and Daxter on my PlayStation 3 and hopefully soon, I’ll get that done and over with so that I can play Jak II and Jak 3.
